Happy Birthday to the Gift Therapist

No, not Jennifer...the Gift Therapist! Exactly one year ago today, the Gift Therapist website went live and the concept of Giveology was launched. Athough it wasn't called Giveology at the time, I believe that the Gift Therapist concept became successful, not only because of the bargain hunting ideas, but for the consistent focus on giving...a verb that embodies action, thoughtfulness and compassion. We've come a long way, baby! And I thank each and every one of you out there for contributing to the success!

One year ago, I never dreamed that one day I would be considered an expert source on gift giving. But today the media, newspapers and magazines think so. Look for the Gift Therapist's advice this fall in holiday editions of Woman's Day Magazine, Real Simple, and your local Sunday paper's holiday gift guide inserts. Creator's News Service put the Gift Therapist on the front page! (click HERE to see!) This is very humbling for someone who, one year ago, didn't know the power of the Internet, let alone how to connect with the folks who could launch a new career. There is no turning back now...it's full steam ahead!
