GMA reported this morning that back to school sales figures are down this year. Expect to see a lot of back to school sales and loss leaders in the upcoming weeks. If you have taken my advice and have created a "gift" budget, now would be a great time to clean up on potential stocking stuffers and smaller gifts that have the potential to make a great compliment to your gifts of three (3). For example:
- Journals, pencils, and colorful binders make great gifts for college students all year long! Swoop them up when you see them on the clearance rack!
- Hoodies, jeans and screened t's are always a welcome gift for teens on your list. Take advantage of the huge sales in store and online.
- Organizational products like desk cubes, designer paper clips, and funky file folders make great gifts for colleagues at the office. Stock up now and give the entire office a giant basket to share as a holiday gift!
And don't forget to surf online and check out your favorite stores. Be sure to visit their sale or clearance section first! There are plenty of free shipping deals out there right now so be sure to take advantage of it!
