Ballerina Booty Socks by Mud Pie

For the future ballerina, these little socks are just adorable. Why fuss with shoes when these little numbers can do double duty? So precious and quite affordable at $14.99 for a set of three. Incorporate these into a ballerina theme and give the gift of dance to the little one! Maybe you could find a tiny tu-tu or sparkly hair accessories. How cute would that be? Oh...what fun it is to dress little girls! What else could we add to this gift to make it really special? Please share your comments below! I can't wait to hear them!

The Gift of Kindness

(photo taken from www.kindnotes.com)

While working on a interview with Bargain Babe I stumbled upon a fabulous gift idea that you can either purchase online or get creative and make from your craft bin. Kindnotes has a full collection of customizable memory jars that would be a fabulous gift for Mother's Day, a special birthday or graduation gift. Starting at around $27, the idea is that you fill little envelopes with sentiments, memories or inspirational notes, place them into a keepsake jar or box, and the notes can be opened by the recipient every day. I just think they are really beautiful and can easily be replicated at home if you are on a tight budget. What else has caught my eye recently? Head on over to Bargain Babe and check out our interview on romantic gifts that won't break the bank! Enjoy and Happy Giving!

Gift Giving Dilemma: Suggestions for Brooke?

I just received this in my inbox today and wanted to give Brooke as much help as I could, so I decided to throw out this scenario to you and see what you creative folks come up with! Here's the dilemma...

"My parents' 30th wedding anniversary is coming up in early May. Obviously, this is a big one, and I would like to give them something special without spending a lot of money. They were planning a trip to the beach, but have cancelled it because, in this economy, they just don't have the $. I would have to ship the gift, as they live in NC and I am in PA. I know that they enjoy wine, but I'm not sure if shipping wine is a possibility. They also already have plenty of drinkware. My mom enjoys photography, gardening, nature, she also likes to cook. My dad is a pretty simple guy, he works, is very handy, and spends a lot of time out in the yard with my mom. Any ideas?"

Please share you comments below and help solve this gifting dilemma for Brooke!

Super Cute Personalized Notes

Who knew Walmart sold checks, note cards and personalized stationary? I sure didn't but found out when I opened my Wlmart bill this morning...LOL! After browsing the website, they certainly have a wide selection and you can utilize the "gift of three" formula easily with their products.

The design above is called "Honeysuckle" and they come 25 in a pack with envelopes and personalization for only $14.95. Coordinating accessories include matching return address labels (120 for $5.96) and notepads (set of two pads for $14.95)...all personalized! Pick one item within your price range and build a great gift theme around it. This would be a very nice gift for Mother's Day or Graduation Gift for someone going off to college.

Be sure to check the clearance racks at you local Staples or Office Max for small gifts like pretty pens, file folders, or paper clips that may compliment your selection. Maybe even throw in a sheet of stamps for that extra special person on your list...just be creative!

Please let me know what you think! Good luck and happy giving!
